Monica McDonald is the Community Liaison for the Capital Area Healthy Start Coalition and talks with Brien about the goal of the organization, which is to reduce infant mortality, reduce the number of low birth weight babies, and improve health and development outcomes. Healthy Start does whatever is needed to assure a stable environment is in place before the baby arrives. Home visitors work with the family until the baby turns three.
Brien talks with Tracy Marple, District Manager of the University Center Club and Membership Director Cherrie Barbree about Tallahassee’s premier private club for Florida State University, the local community and beyond where business and community leaders gather together for fine dining, networking and private events overlooking Doak Campbell Stadium. They’ll also bring us up to date about the exciting renovations going on currently!
Sportswriter Tim Linafelt from Seminoles.com will be with us for another installment of “The Linafelt Sports Report”, talking about FSU football! Specifically the upcoming Georgia Tech game, the Clemson challenge, how running back Dalvin Cook is healing and about the upcoming schedule.
