June 14th 2014 – Dr. Atira Charles and Bob Ballard

It is an honor to have Dr. Atira Charles join us this Saturday morning. Dr. Charles is currently a professor at Florida A&M University where she instructs Organizational Behavior for the School of Business and Industry (SBI). she previously instructed at Florida States University School of Business as well. Dr. Charles uphold several leadership positions that positively affects the community aside from being an outstanding professor. However, she most importantly serve as a mentor to students here in Tallahassee, Florida. On this show, Atira Charles will discuss with Brien her career as a motivational speaker, her drive as a life coach to college students here in Tallahassee, and those who’ve inspired her to reach her current career height.

The new executive director of Tallahassee Community College’s Wakulla Environmental institute, Bob Ballard will be one of our guests this Saturday where he will speak on his journey towards gaining this new position. Bob Ballard previously worked for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Department of Education. It is truly obvious that Mr. Ballard have made several impacts on our community. He will also share with us the different programs the institution will include and give us some insights on the several opportunities that the institution will provide for the city of Tallahassee.
