Kenneth D. Pratt is the Senior Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Florida Bankers Association and a Tallahassee native who spoke recently at the observance of the 60th Anniversary of the Tallahassee Bus Boycott. As a celebrated writer, Gerald Ensley has informed and entertained Tallahassee Democrat readers for a generation. His grasp of community affairs and his knowledge of Tallahassee’s history provides us a rich background in describing for us the events that occurred in 1956 known as the Tallahassee Bus Boycott. Gerald will talk with Brien about the 60th Anniversary of this pivotal event that helped pave the way for racial integration in Tallahassee and gave inspiration to the works being fostered by Dr. Martin Luther King.

As a univerisal language, music empowers all of us with the ability to connect ourselves to a certain time, a place, and other people. In the business of Music Therapy, this is demonstrated when a music therapist is able to help people unlock their own emotions and thoughts and find solutions and understanding. Steffi Tassos Wohlsifer will talk with Brien about her career as a musician, music teacher and music therapist.
