November 15th 2014 – Author Michael Hirsch and Barbara Goldstein

Author and filmmaker, Michael Hirsch will be with us talking about his book “The Liberators” along with Barbara Goldstein who is the Executive Director of the Holocaust Education Resource Council in Tallahassee. Mr. Hirsch was the keynote speaker at HERC’s annual benefit dinner held earlier this week. This most recent book chronicles the liberation of the Nazi death camps and concentration camps at the end of World War II beginning in April, 1945 as told to us from those 180 American soldiers the author interviewed over a period of three years. 2015 marks the 70th anniversary of the liberation.
