August 2nd 2014 – Grace Robinson and Dean Donald Parks

Grace Robinson, Executive Director of the Gadsden County Arts Center will talk with Brien about the expanding role of art in the life of Quincy, Florida and Gadsden County at large. We will hear about the number of nationally and internationally-acclaimed artists that have come from Gadsden County and among them, those that continue to make it their home.

The academic programs offered at Flagler College in Tallahassee will be the focus of our visit with Dean Donald Parks as he talks with Brien about the strength of their contributions in the areas of business and an upcoming program in integrated marketing and communications. We will learn about the beginnings of Flagler College in St. Augustine where the main campus remains one of the country’s most beautiful and how the college reflects the enterprising character of Florida industrialist, Henry Flager, for whom it is named.
