On The Notion Of Inalienable Rights

Like so many, I believed in a Creator who has endowed each one with inalienable Clearly, I have been mistaken in my heartfelt conviction that all men are created equal. I am now of the mind that none of this is true.
It has become apparent to me that some are more entitled than others to enjoy the freedoms of liberty and access to privilege. Only they are qualified to make critical decisions about our country and our individual lives. They have the capacity to determine what is in the best interest of us all. They alone possess the sincere understanding of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as it is so carelessly scripted in the American Constitution, and in following this understanding, they are better prepared to determine for each of us how these are best achieved.
It may seem a bit foreign to you now, but in time, you will see that having attained such a self-driven level of education, position, and wealth for themselves, they alone are better prepared to rear our children, distribute wealth, and govern our society at large. They are the enlightened few who can see far beyond our limited scope. The idea that someone who is uneducated, unsophisticated, and who believes in archaic notions concerning such things as fidelity in marriage, the individual responsibility for one’s family and community, and the innate value of human life should be granted any voice in such matters now seems quite absurd. These simple-minded rubes are entirely unfit and unprepared to be entrusted with such critical decisions. They should continue to go about the menial tasks for which they are best suited.
