Lisa Jackson provides support services to students who have experienced foster care, homelessness, relative care or ward of the State status to promote independence, academic success and overall personal well-being as Assistant Director of the Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement, Unconquered Scholars Program at Florida State University. Lisa, along with students Abdullah Derosier and Rebekka Behr will talk with Brien about the program and the barriers/successes this vulnerable population faces attending post-secondary education.

Born and raised in Tallahassee, Eye Associates Of Tallahassee’s Dr. Josh Trafton talks with Brien about contact lenses, dry eyes, overall eye health, and his work with the Children’s Home Society, founding director of Everhart Excellence Foundation: a non-profit organization benefitting the children, faculty, and staff of Gretchen Everhart School.
