Del Suggs and The Sarah Mac Band represent the remarkable diversity and unique sound that is Tallahassee. For his part, Del has been a trailblazer for the local music community, and a contributor to Tallahassee’s arts and entertainment for many years. He continues to serve the community as a leader among various organizations, including his board membership with COCA. SMB’s Charlie Vanture has a similar story to tell as a musician and community activist. Charlie and Del with talk with Brien about the local music scene, and reflect upon our history, our current status, and our future. The recent announcement of SMB’s farewell tour continues this week when they will be joined by Del Suggs on stage at Theatre Tallahassee, Tuesday, November 7th at 7pm. Tickets are available on line.

The upcoming Women United Inaugural Women’s Leadership Breakfast will bring together women from across the community to consider the changing roles of women in our community and across the country. The event benefits the work of United Way Of The Big Bend. Vice President Of Resource Development Molly Lord will talk with Brien about this event and their guest speaker Claire Diaz-Ortiz scheduled for Tuesday, November 7th at 8:30am at the Turnbull Conference Center in Tallahassee.
