Brien talks with Dave Gussak, PhD, ATR-BC, Professor of Art Therapy and Chairperson of the Department of Art Education at Florida State University in Tallahassee. He is the author of Art on Trial: Art Therapy in Capital Murder Cases (2013) and is the co-editor and contributing author of the newly published 84-chapter Wiley Handbook of Art Therapy with his colleague Dr. Marcia Rosal. He is also the author of the Psychology Today blog, “Art on Trial: Confessions of a Serial Art Therapist” and has published numerous articles and chapters and has lectured widely both nationally and internationally about art therapy with prison inmates, aggressive and violent clients and its relationship to forensics.
