Our region’s beloved Jack Rudloe founder and president of Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratories returns to Tallahassee Talks to talk with Brien about the on-going work of this remarkable team in research, education and advocacy. Their upcoming annual fundraiser Sharks & Chablis is scheduled for May 20th.

Noah Barcio was only two years old when his mother enrolled him in a creative movement class. Dance became his central interest and as he grew in his training, he was fortunate to learn from professional dancers from around the world. Noah will talk with Brien about his desire to attend a five-week program with the Orlando Ballet. Out of 1,250 students, Noah was one of the few selected to attend and was granted a scholarship to cover tuition. Noah and his mom have set up a Fundly account that will help pay for additional expenses.

Tallahassee Talks contributor Michelle Rehwinkel Vasilinda will welcome her guest Commander Dennis Baker, US NAVY retired, as they talk about the resilient life of General Lawrence Snowden.

Co-Host Miriam Dady will welcome her guest Southern Shakespeare Festival’s artistic director Lanny Thomas in our Business Spotlight. They talk about a mother’s day treat coming up May 12th through 14th: a free Shakespeare schedule at Cascades Park “As You Like It”.
