Tallahassee Community Chorus concludes its season with the final appearance of their beloved conductor Dr. Andre Thomas.  This Spring concert entitled Tribute! is scheduled for Saturday April 13th, 7:30pm at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall, Florida State University.  Tickets are available on line at tcchorus.org. Chorus President Jan Smith and Executive Director Randall Webster will talk with Brien about this magnificent concert that will feature the Southeastern premier of Andre J. Thomas Mass: A Celebration Of Love And Joy.  They will be joined by choirs of FSU College Of Music and the University Symphony Orchestra.  Don’t miss this fitting tribute and joyful celebration that honors the illustrious career of Dr. Thomas over the last 31 years.


Among the many festivals Tallahassee is known for, the LeMoyne Chain Of Parks Art Festival is the crown jewel.  Nationally recognized among artists as one of the top 5 from year to year, this festival features a juried art show that brings together acclaimed fine artists from around the country.  LeMoyne Arts President and Festival Chair Kelly Dozier, and Executive Director Lee Ortega will talk with Brien about the many one-of-a-kind works from 170 fine artists and the wide variety of live entertainment, a host of local food trucks and vendors, and libations served at the WXYZ Bar by Aloft, all at the center court.  The festival is scheduled for Saturday April 27th and Sunday April 28th along Park Avenue just east of Monroe Street in downtown Tallahassee.
